1. Company Information

Services: Mt Kenya trekking, hiking expeditions, safaris, and outdoor adventure tours in Kenya.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or booking any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of a deposit or full payment.
Confirmation will be sent via email or WhatsApp.
4. Pricing & Currency
All prices are quoted and payable in United States Dollars (USD).
Any currency conversions shown on the website are for reference only.
In the event of discrepancies, USD pricing shall prevail.
Prices may change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
5. Payments
Payments must be made in USD via bank transfer, card payment, or other agreed methods.
Any transaction fees, bank charges, or currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the client.
Full payment must be completed before the start of the trip unless agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Refunds, if applicable, depend on the cancellation notice period and services already booked.
No refunds will be issued for unused services once the trip has commenced.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify trips due to weather, safety, government restrictions, or unforeseen events.
7. Changes to Itinerary
We may adjust routes, accommodations, or schedules for safety or operational reasons.
Such changes do not qualify for refunds if made in the interest of client safety.
8. Health & Fitness Responsibility
Clients must ensure they are medically and physically fit for trekking and outdoor activities.
Any medical conditions must be disclosed prior to booking.
Participation is entirely at the client’s own risk.
9. Assumption of Risk
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks including altitude sickness, injury, weather conditions, and wildlife encounters. By booking, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.
10. Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel, medical, and evacuation insurance.
Summit & Safari Kenya is not responsible for medical costs or insurance claims.
11. Limitation of Liability
Summit & Safari Kenya shall not be held liable for loss, injury, damage, delay, or expenses caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the booked service.
12. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during trips
13. Photography & Marketing
Photos or videos taken during trips may be used for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, images, and branding remains the property of Summit & Safari Kenya.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
